Rusty Koivu grew up in Columbia and Lexington, and attended the University of South Carolina before serving 2 years as a missionary in Finland.  After returning, he spent the next 16 years in Detroit, MI as a Food & Beverage Professional.  Rusty came back home in 2003, transitioning from restaurants to real estate, via working with longtime friend Andy Aun, of Aun & McKay, P.A.

Rusty acquired his SC Real Estate License in 2006 and has enjoyed countless opportunities to help people achieve their real estate goals though buying, selling and investing.

In 2010, Rusty met his wife Jenn and they're currently living their "Happily Ever After" in Lexington.
